Genpact inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, ETL Developer with knowledge on SF – DBT, Python, Azure, and Air Flow.
Job Designation: Principal Consultant – Python Developer – Data Engineering
Qualification: BE/B Tech/ MCA
Experience: Freshers / experienced
Skill Set :
- Good programming knowledge in SAP, Python, and Azure Data Factory.
- Good knowledge of AWS Could Platform, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.
- Creative ways of solving problems efficiently and logically
- Development experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Strong grasp of distributed architecture including web services and messaging.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Description :
- Construct Source data flow into Fact and Dimensional tables from RAW/LANDING Zone.
- Mentor the source DBT CDC Data records, informing the team of any unusual spike in data loads.
- Load and validate file-based ingestion process.
- Configuration changes, schedule load stop /start and automate as much as possible.
- Investigating long-running jobs, unexpected hung jobs or loads – CPU, network, high volume of data, hung threads, etc.
- Changes – Applying filters, the ad-hoc job runs to extract data.
- Migration of any code changes in Dev, QA, and Prod.
- Improve process on file ingestion process – Identifying the data missing, format-related incidents, file naming conventions, etc.
- Keep track of the backup repository for code in Dev, QA, and Prod env.
