Job Designation: Software & Application Development Engineer

Qualification: Graduate

Experience: Freshers / 0 – 4 years

Skill  Set :

1. Good knowledge of Java Database configurations.
2. Strong proficiency in JDK8, JDK17, and Spring Boot.
3. Should have any RDBMS database knowledge, Postgres SQL is preferred
4. Should have worked throughout the SDLC life cycle
5. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
6. Strong proficiency in logic building and converting the problem statement into a line of code.
7. Shall have a good understanding of REST APIs and shall be proficient with the same.
8. Candidate should be able to work as a team.
9. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
10. A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
11. Good Knowledge of code versioning tools. Like SVN/GIT.
12. Should have worked on Linux OS
13. Should have Agile SCRUM experience
14. Must possess Problem-Solving Skills and Critical Thinking
15. Shall have an excellent and collaborative attitude
16. Shall be capable of communicating effectively
17. Shall be willing to work in shifts

Job Description :

The software and application Development Engineer's primary focus will be on developing Java code to perform automation activities by following the well-known Spring Boot framework. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality products is important.

1. Developing/Enhancing Automation code using Spring Boot
2. Building reusable components methods/functions for future use
3. Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
4. Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
5. Unit Testing through the Junit framework
6. SIT Support for bug fixes
7. Provide L2 Support for the production issues
8. Deploy the code on test servers for the SIT and UAT phases
9. Writing effective and scalable code/test case
10. Debugging and deploying applications
11. Providing support for the production environment
12. Preparing software development calendar
13. Preparing reports and dashboards on project time deviations, rework time, etc
14. Conducting development testing and reporting testing issues to the supervisor
15. Identifying and tracking bugs, assessing the nature of bugs, and executing corrective actions
